Level 4 APT Processor
Icam design and maintenance for more than 35 years anni APT CAM-APT-SURF processor. Born at the beginning of CNC technology and evolved over the years, the APT processor remains in the ICAM product portfolio to enable users to support and maintenance the APT existing programs. Compatible with many past APT processors sources, no longer supported, it can be ideal solution to ensure the continuity of your programs. Fully integrated on ICAM PSE product suite, CAM-APT-SURF uses Post-Processing and Virtual Simulation technologies ensuring the APT program portability to last generation machine tools.
Principal Benefits
Extended Support for Level 4 APT Instructions
CAM-APT-SURF supports basic functions of APT language, and advanced functions for creating and processing ruled surface, revolution tabulated and pockets.
Compatibility with major APT Systems
CAM-APT-SURF is compatible with APT sources of the main processors existing or past. APT programs of your database can be reused and modified to allow for further use.
Icam PSE Integration
CAM-APT-SURF uses the same ICAM PSE license system, ensuring easy integration into environments that already use Icam technology. The CLDATA binary format product by CAM-APT-SURF is fully compatible with the input generator of CAM-POST Post-Processor, ensuring easy integration and immediate use of the existing business post-processor. CAM-APT-SURF can leverage Virtual Machine technology during the post-processing. APT programs written more than twenty years ago can then be simulated on a last generation machine tool.
Multiplatform
CAM-APT-SURF is available on Windows and Unix platforms. APT users of UNIX systems are not required to change their method of editing and process on Windows machines, for which we have provided a simple visual system for the processor supervision. Vice versa, when necessary, you can move the entire archive of APT sources to the Windows platform with lower hardware management cost and better systems integration.
